About Service
A certificate that is granted to investors who wish to establish new projects or to make modifications (expansion – adding activity – changing activity – changing location) on an existing company and project in Fujairah City as an initial approval from the environmental perspective.
Steps
1. Customers apply the online service with all required documents.
2. Customer service officer reviews the application, confirms that all the correct documents are attached, and request for any missing documents from the applicant, if applicable.
3. Customer service officer forwards the service to the environmental inspectors.
4. The inspector will visit the customer site, review the submitted application and documents, and prepare the inspection report with photo evidence in the system.
5. The environmental specialist will review the submitted reports, place comments, recommendations, if the request is rejected by the environmental specialist, a message will automatically get sent to the customer with comments, if the request is approved by environmental specialist, it will be forward to section head for final decision.
6. If the section head reject the request, a message will automatically get sent to the customer with comments, if the request is approved or approved with the conditions by section head, the system will generate the payment notification based on activities.
7. Customer pays the amount online or at the cashier.
8. The system generated NOC reviewed by the customer service, attached to the request with the terms and conditions.

Terms of Service
1. Comply with all the provisions and regulations of the Federal Law No. (24) of 1999 for the protection and development of the environment, and local environmental laws.
2. The proposed site complies with the minimum environmental standards for the project.
3. The technology should be environmental friendly.
4. The customer obligating him not to change the location, open a workshop or store without obtaining a written approval from the authority.
5. Chemical companies are obligated to prepare the storage site in accordance with environmental and MSDS requirements and inform the Authority before starting storage of chemicals.
6. The companies deal with chemical (restrict or not restricted) should submit chemical importing request for each shipment after obtaining required approval competent authorities (Ministry of interior – ministry of health – ministry of climate change and environment).
7. Environmental consultant company should register from the authorities.
